Step Two

Stamp, Colour & Fussy cut a mixture of leaves, Pumpkins, Toadstools, or anything autumn you have in your crafty stash. Should you not want to stamp and colour, you could always use your cutting dies and cut lots of leaves etc out of autumn coloured cardstock. We decided to use a mix of die cut and stamped images.

Step Three

Prepare your pieces of card for matting and layering, As we have made a 7x7” card, we trimmed the 3 x coordinating pieces leaving ½” border between each layer 6.5x.6.5”, 6x6”, 5.5x5.5” & a white piece of card 5x5” to create your autumnal wreath on.

Step 4

Draw a circle using a template approx. 4” in diameter. This will be your guide for building your wreath on so do not worry about a pencil line as you will be covering this as you go along.

Step 5

Stamp a sentiment or quote in the middle of your circle. It is better to do this at this stage whilst your card is blank and then build up around the wording. Stick all your matting and layering together and add to your card blank.

Step 6

To create your base wreath layer use some of your larger leaves and glue flat to your card around your circle guide.

Step 7

To add dimension to your wreath, build your next layer of leaves etc using foam pads or 3D glue. Repeat this process to create a third layer.

*Top Tip – try tucking some of the stalks under the leaves to give a more natural looking wreath.

Step 8

To add some sparkle to the wreath, pop some gems randomly around your wreath. If you wanted to add more sparkle you could always add glitter to your card.
