How to make a tailored bow from Ribbon

What you'll need

  • Ribbon
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • 30 cm ruler

Step One

Cut three lengths of ribbon; 18cms, 23cms and 28cms.

Step Two

For each length of ribbon, fold the ends under until they meet in the middle and glue in place.

Step Three

Place the loops of ribbon one on top of another, longest at the bottom and shortest on the top and glue them together.

Step Four

Cut another length of ribbon to 20cms.

Step Five

Cut the ends into a V shape.

Step Six

Glue the ribbon loops onto this tail piece.

Step Seven

Cut another piece of ribbon to approximately 12cms.

Step Eight

Wrap it around the centre of the ribbon loops and tail and secure at the back with glue.
